$100 MRR isn't that hard if you've validated demand and know where your actual people hang out. I've helped a few consumer brands launch their products, and the biggest trap is thinking you need a big launch day.
Start by building relationships one-on-one. DMs are your best friend. If it's a B2B SaaS, hop into LinkedIn and Reddit communities where your ICP already asks questions. For consumer apps, Instagram and TikTok are non-negotiables, but don't just post into the void-engage with creators in your niche, build genuine connections, and negotiate UGC collabs. Engagement rate matters way more than follower count for early traction.
ProductHunt and niche directories are decent for a spike, but sustained revenue comes from doubling down on whatever channel gives you a positive ROI. Run small experiments, measure everything (even if it's just a spreadsheet), and pour fuel into what works. Rinse and repeat until you've got a reliable flow.
The key is treating every DM as a potential partnership, not a transaction. That's how you turn zero users into a few paying ones without burning cash.
