I'm banging my head against the wall with Meta Ads Manager. Facebook is getting all the impressions while Instagram is barely showing up. Thought I'd set everything up correctly, but clearly not.
Here's what I've been checking so far - maybe someone can tell me if I'm missing something?
🔸 Verified that the Instagram account is linked inside Business Portfolio - that part seems fine.
🔸 Checked the ad account permissions - Instagram is listed as a connected asset, but maybe not at all levels?
🔸 Heard that Meta's placement algorithm sometimes just favours Facebook because it's cheaper inventory, so could be that the connection is actually correct but the delivery is skewed.
Honestly, the flow between Pages, Instagram, Business Manager and Ads Manager is way more confusing than it should be. Anyone else run into this and found a fix? Would love to know if there's a specific spot inside Business Settings where you have to enable Instagram for ads, or if it's a placement issue in the ad set itself. Happy to compensate someone for a quick walkthrough - just need someone who really knows their stuff.
