I love marketing, but days like today make me want to throw my laptop out the window. Got hacked earlier - both my business page and personal profile wiped out in one go. No warning, no obvious phishing link I clicked, just gone.
Spent hours trying to reach Meta's 'support' - you know the drill: endless bot loops, automated replies that make no sense, and that sinking feeling that nobody on the other end actually cares. I've heard rumours of people getting help by nagging the AI until it escalates to a real person, but that got me nowhere - just three cold, templated messages from someone called 'Cease' who then ghosted.
At this point I'm desperate. Does anyone actually have a direct contact at Meta? A real human who can restore a hacked account? I'm not holding my breath, but figured it's worth asking here before I give up and start from scratch.
