I built a SaaS for small agencies (2-10 staff) that helps track overdue invoices, partial payments, payment promises, and automated follow-ups. The issue? Once agencies handle 20+ clients, collections get messy fast:
📌 Account managers forget follow-ups
📌 Payment promises get lost
📌 Partial payments aren't tracked properly
📌 Founders only notice problems when cash flow tightens
I've tried:
• Posting on Twitter
• Cold emailing agencies
• Some SEO / content work
But response rates have been very low so far.
For anyone who's marketed B2B SaaS to agencies:
🔹 Which channels actually worked?
🔹 How did you land your first 10-20 customers?
🔹 Is cold outreach still viable for small SaaS?
🔹 Any agency communities or directories worth targeting?
I'm just a builder, clueless about the marketing side. Would love your insights.
