I've always lurked on Pinterest. Finally made an account to post my press-on nail designs.
Problem is - nobody sees them.
On TikTok, I'd drop a video and get 1k views almost instantly, even with zero followers. Here? I'm lucky if a pin gets more than 10 impressions. That means Pinterest isn't even showing the thing to anyone. No impressions = no engagement = dead on arrival.
I'm doing the basics: authentic photos, keyword-rich titles, relevant tags. Still nothing.
What's the deal? Is there some secret handshake I'm missing? I swear the algorithm hates fresh accounts.
Someone in another thread said Pinterest treats you like a ghost until you prove you're not spam. Might be true. But how do you prove anything when nobody sees your work?
If you want to see what I'm working with, check my page - it's called mani_couture. But honestly, it's a wasteland in there right now.
Any seasoned pinners found a way to break through the ceiling?
