simple WhatsApp Cloud API for voice calls?

Anyone know an API-first WhatsApp Cloud API calling solution that's dead simple? I'm trying to dodge Meta's labyrinth of docs. This is purely for voice calling - no messaging needed. Every solution I find seems built for messaging first, and the calling side is either bolted on or buried in jargon. Ideally something with a clean endpoint, minimal setup, and no certification drama. CPI optimisation is my day job, so I need to test this quickly without getting lost in verification loops. Thoughts?

tried their API a while back for a WhatsApp integration - does the job without all the usual corporate bullshit. Docs are decent, API actually works first time, which is rare these days. Worth a look if you're sick of the usual cloud provider nightmares

Same here. no point in spinning up servers when you can offload it to the provider. keeps things lean and focuses the budget on user acquisition, not infrastructure

Honestly, it's doable yourself if you've got the chops. But handing it off to some shiny API provider? You're basically signing up for vendor lock-in with a side of "we'll decide what you can and can't do."
