Where's the AI changelog for Meta/Google/Amazon?

Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but this feels like a massive gap. Managing Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Amazon Ads daily means making so many micro changes that after a few days I genuinely cannot remember: what changed, when it changed, why performance shifted. And platform change histories are technically there... but useless for actual understanding.

What I want is a lightweight desktop app or Chrome extension that passively watches ad platform activity, detects meaningful actions, and generates an AI summary/changelog automatically. Basically: "Here's everything you changed in your accounts this week." I don't want another Notion template or spreadsheet. I want automatic memory for performance marketing work.

Has anyone found something close to this?

Honestly, that was my first reaction too when I heard about these AI changelog tools. How is this different from the built-in change logs in Meta or Google? if the AI is just summarising what you already changed, that's no different to what's already there. I've been burned by enough repackaged features to be sceptical

I've been running something similar-a lightweight Python agent that calls the Ads API hourly, diffs account changes, and updates a Google Sheet. Works for Meta, Google, and Amazon. No fancy tools required, just the right API endpoints.

You can pull Google ads change history for one account or a gajillion accounts through the API.

Just built a tool for that via Claude Code a week or so ago for 1000+ accounts.

Actually, the Google Ads API does have a change history endpoint now. Has done for a while. But good luck automating anything reliable with it - the data's inconsistent, pagination is a nightmare, and you'll still be pulling your hair out.

Rate limits will kill any agent polling those APIs repeatedly - seen it hit with Meta's daily cap around 50k requests. Better to set up webhook listeners on ad status change events instead. I've got a Python snippet for Google Ads if you need it.

Honestly, manual change logs are a waste of time for most accounts. By the time you've noted what you changed, the algorithm has already adapted and your "cause and effect" is just noise. If you really want a timeline, pull the history log CSV, dump it into a BI tool, and overlay it with performance data yourself. Tying those dots manually is the only way to get something half-reliable - because every platform's own "change history" widget is just a glorified audit trail, not a performance analysis.

And the agent idea? Overkill unless you've got a hundred changes a week. Most of what people flag as "changes" barely move the needle. Spend that effort on building solid conversion tracking instead.
