I've been chatting with a bunch of creators lately, and the same frustration keeps cropping up - writing is fun, but distribution is a total nightmare. You pour your soul into a newsletter, then spend the next hour manually reformatting it into a LinkedIn post, a tweet, an Instagram caption. Same content, five different versions. It eats up time you could actually spend creating something new.
What gets me is it's not even creative work. It's copy-pasting, adjusting tone, resizing images, rescheduling. Feels productive but just drains you. I've been brainstorming a system where I connect my newsletter and social accounts in one place, automating repurposing and cross-posting while keeping my voice and platform-native feel. But I'm not sure if that's overcomplicating things.
So how do you all deal with this? Do you batch everything on a Sunday? Skip certain platforms entirely because it's too much? I'd love to hear what's actually working - or not working - out there.
