Current SEO toolkit: caffeine, existential dread, praying for indexing, and writing comments on forums.

At this point SEO isn't search engine optimisation. It's convincing Google I have a right to exist. Anyone else feel this way?

Oh, that's painfully accurate. feels like I spend half my life filming and editing authentic UGC content only for Google to decide the thumbnail and a 12-word caption are plenty for the user. Why bother with the full spread when the algorithm just spoon-feeds the appetiser?
