Cold email personalisation used to be the biggest time sink in my outreach. So I wired up n8n + Claude to auto-generate tailored first lines from a Google Sheet. You just drop in leads - name, company, website, title, pain point - and it spits out a 1-2 sentence opener written back to the sheet. Costs about a cent per hundred leads.
But let's be real, personalisation that just regurgitates LinkedIn actually hurts more than it helps. This thing actually looks at the pain point and company context, so the opener feels relevant rather than spammy. Early response rates are looking better than generic templates, but I'm still tweaking. If you've tried something similar, would love to compare notes.
