Honestly, I love marketing, but the fake 'how my product went viral on Reddit' videos do my head in. They all claim 'a hundred billion clicks from one post' and yet when I actually hunt for those products on the platform, nothing. Nada. Just ghost accounts and dead links.
So I'm asking properly - anyone out there got examples of genuine organic marketing on Reddit for smaller, niche products? Not McDonald's or Nvidia, but the weird stuff. The kind of thing you'd actually spot in the wild and think 'that was clever, well played'. I do organic marketing myself and I'm constantly second-guessing whether I'm doing it right or just shouting into the void.
