Agency sites are a massive waste of time if you're chasing SEO for growth. Almost never works, especially in saturated spaces.
What actually drives growth? Referrals, founder's personal brand on LinkedIn, public case studies, speaking gigs, targeted outbound. Nobody's landing clients because of a blog post they wrote.
bigger problem: "web dev + AI automation" is the worst positioning you could pick right now. Every other dev shop pivoted to that exact pitch in the last 18 months. You're in a sea of thousands pitching the same bundle. No SEO strategy cuts through that noise.
fastest route for a commodity agency? Go vertical. "AI automation for dental practices" will destroy "AI automation agency" any day. Orders of magnitude difference.
And forget the agency site as lead gen. your personal brand on LinkedIn pulls in ten times the inbound. if you're not building that, you're just another faceless vendor.
