let's say paid ads are off the table. No Meta, no Google, no influencer spend. Just you, the product, and a clock ticking. What's the very first lever you pull?
I've been chewing on this because so much of our industry leans on ad spend to validate creative. strip that away and suddenly you're forced to interrogate everything: is the product itself a hook? Is the landing page actually communicating value in under three seconds? most brands skip straight to pouring money into campaigns without even nailing the foundational creative hierarchy.
For me, I'd obsess over the product page and organic content loops. Specifically, the psychological friction points in the purchase flow. Then I'd map out a six-month content calendar built on utility, not vanity metrics. Free reach is still alive if you're relentless and specific enough. No fluff, just patterns that earn attention.
what about you? what's the first move when you've got zero budget and only your wits?
