Look, I log into Ahrefs every day. And every day that bloody banner is there screaming 'Agent A!' like it's the second coming. Honestly, it's getting annoying. I get it, you've got a new feature. Now let me work.
That said, has anyone actually put this thing through its paces? Not the demo fluff - real, ugly, day-to-day SEO work. I'm talking content gap analysis, backlink audits, cluster building. does it actually save time or is it just another chatbot that needs constant hand-holding?
i run a small agency. We've got clients with 50k+ page sites. The last thing I need is another tool that looks impressive in a webinar and then becomes a ghost feature six months later. Seen that cycle before.
A colleague mentioned using it for quick keyword grouping. Said it was okay but nothing groundbreaking. Another said it kept suggesting pages that didn't exist. Not exactly confidence inspiring.
So - what real tasks have you thrown at Agent A? And more importantly, would you pay extra for it when the core suite already does 90% of the job? or is this just Ahrefs trying to cash in on the AI hype train before it derails?
Curious to hear from people managing actual sites, not just the ones running test accounts.
