Free Google Maps scraper - 10k validated emails. Feedback?

Built a free tool to scrape Google Maps businesses with validated email addresses. So far it's pulled about 10,000 entries. Trying to see if the data quality actually holds up against paid alternatives.

Current features:

Filter by rating (above or below, say, 3 stars)
Pull reviews from specific years
Find businesses with low review counts
Locate businesses without a website
Extract negative reviews from a listing

A few people in the original thread asked where to test it - dropped a link via DM. Would be keen to know if this is genuinely useful for lead gen or if something critical is missing. Main concern is whether the email validation is solid enough for cold outreach. Data-driven feedback especially welcome.

Sounds like a promising lead gen experiment. curious to see how the data holds up against something like Apollo or ZoomInfo on accuracy-those paid tools still have plenty of junk. Mind sharing how you validated the emails? If it's scraping Google Maps descriptions alone, business owner info there can be stale. either way, I'd love to put it through its paces-can I test it?

Nice work. I've messed about with similar scrapers myself - the real bottleneck is always email validation. Did you use a separate verification API or a regex-based approach? Curious how many bounces you saw from that 10k. Also, what's the rate limiting situation like on Google Maps? Bit sceptical on the engineering here. Google Maps' rate limiting and bot detection are pretty aggressive - would love to see how you bypassed that without burning through proxies.

Plenty of tools already scrape map listings. The real gap is finding businesses that should be on the map but never claimed their listing - those are the ones worth reaching out to.

Does this handle filtering by 'newly opened'? That'd be gold for B2B demand gen - fresh restaurants mean high-intent prospects with less inbox fatigue. Are you scraping based on a 'newly listed' tag or inferring recency from review date patterns? If not, adding a recency parameter (e.g., scraped within last 30 days) would make this a killer tool for targeting early-stage businesses.
