I'm at my wit's end with WhatsApp Business account restrictions. No bulk messaging, no spam - just handling genuine customer enquiries coming in from Instagram ads, around 20-30 chats per day. After the first restriction, I even paused my ads and stopped using that number for campaigns. This number has been active for 8 years without any issues.
Each review restores the account, but then it gets restricted again after a few days. This cycle has repeated 3-4 times in the past week alone.
Someone pointed out that customers messaging first doesn't count as explicit consent for marketing messages - which could be the root cause. But I'm not sending any marketing, it's purely support replies. Has anyone here found a permanent fix? Also, how do you actually get through to Meta's support team for something like this? Would appreciate any frameworks or workflows that have worked for you.
