Hard agree on this one π―
Websites aren't going anywhere - their form factor absolutely will evolve (think more app-like, voice-driven, or AI-interfaced), but the core need stays the same:
π Own your narrative - no brand should let a third-party platform fully control how customers find, see, or interact with them. Algorithms change, accounts get suspended, trends shift - your site is the one bit of digital real estate you actually run.
π Conversion hub - even if discovery happens on social or search, the final "yes" (purchase, sign-up, download) almost always happens on a brand-owned property. That's where you keep full data and attribution.
π Trust anchor - a well-maintained site signals legitimacy. Third-party profiles can look spammy or abandoned. Your own site is where you prove you're a real business.
The "post-website" era might mean fewer flashy homepages, but the need for a central, owned hub? That's permanent.
