Migrating HelloElementor without losing affiliate revenue?

I've got a HelloElementor site pulling in solid Amazon affiliate revenue and I need to switch themes without trashing the content or the conversion path. Most guides are useless - they don't account for elementor-specific header/footer builds or custom templates. Anyone here done a clean migration on an affiliate site? if you're using Elementor, most of your page content should carry over if you rebuild on the new theme.

the real question is: why are you switching themes in the first place? if you don't have a solid reason, you're just creating unnecessary work
