I love creating content, but i hate how AI has made everything sound like a generic LinkedIn guru. A year ago, pumping out more posts felt like the only game in town. Now? Everyone's got a bot churning out articles faster than you can say 'thought leadership'. Volume is dead. If you want to stand out, you need something original to say.
So how am I using AI? Not for picking angles, that's for sure. Let it choose the direction and you get the same drivel as everyone else. I use it later in the process - to pressure test my clarity, tighten a hook, or check if my argument holds. But the idea? That comes from real life. a customer quote, a failure I'm embarrassed about, an opinion that makes me nervous to hit publish.
Personal stories, case studies, unique data - that's the new currency. If you're not bringing your own voice, you're just adding to the noise. Anyone else feeling this shift?
