I keep seeing conflicting takes on SEO for early-stage SaaS.
On one hand, it's one of those things that compounds if you start early. On the other, when you're still building, talking to users, fixing onboarding, shipping features, and trying to get any sales at all, a blog feels like the easiest thing to push to "later."
I'm curious how other founder-led teams think about this.
Do you treat SEO and blog content as worth starting early, or is it only something to care about once you've got clearer positioning and a working sales motion?
For context, a few replies I saw: someone said don't obsess but don't ignore it. Another brought up the tree analogy - best time to plant was 20 years ago, next best is now. They're getting inbound traffic but need to translate it to pipeline. And someone else pointed out that good SEO often comes naturally once you know what customers keep asking about.
