I've been relying on Clay's native phone enrichment for a while now, and the match rate is honestly rough. Low enough that my sales team keeps pinging me asking when they'll have numbers to dial. Email enrichment has been solid, same with most other waterfalls I've built. But the phone integration just isn't pulling its weight.
i don't want to drop Clay - the rest of the platform is doing too much heavy lifting. Exporting lists to a separate tool just for phones feels like a step backwards. Has anyone cracked this inside Clay itself? I'm thinking about plugging different phone API providers into a waterfall setup.
From what I've gathered in other threads, most teams route phones through a separate setup and keep Clay for everything else. That's where I'm landing too, but I want to do it inside Clay to avoid bouncing CSVs around. how are people structuring it?
