Honestly, I get the frustration, but i think the whole "network or bust" thing gets overblown. i wrote a post offering value in a space I knew well, answering questions people actually had. Within a week, someone reached out wanting exactly what i described. had zero network beforehand - just showed up, listened, built what they asked for, and sold it.
Look, it's not about "exposure". it's about showing up and giving before you ask. A lot of folks want a magic shortcut, but the real work is in being genuinely useful. networks help, but they're not the only way.
