Great point from someone in the thread earlier about flip-flopping between strategies - every reset forces the learning period to start over, so hold off on that for now.
The sequence here is actually the biggest clue. conversions hit zero first, then impressions dropped after. that's classic tCPA behavior: once it stops seeing conversion data, it assumes the traffic isn't working and quietly lowers your bids across the board.
Which means the real question is whether leads genuinely stopped coming in, or whether tracking just stopped recording them. Worth pulling the actual leads you got by email or CRM for those weeks and comparing them against what Google Ads reports. if real leads kept arriving, a tag broke somewhere - this happens all the time after a site update, a form change, or a new cookie banner getting added. 🙏
And if tracking checks out but leads really did dry up, then with that level of monthly volume (somewhere around 5-10 conversions), moving to manual CPC or Max Clicks with a bid cap for a bit is totally reasonable until things pick back up.
happy to take a look if you share a screenshot of the conversions summary page (Goals > Conversions) with the conversion action status visible. 🙌
