i love marketing because of the margins, but i hate when I see bots writing for bots. Look, AI can be a beast for scaling content fast-I've used it for drafts, outlines, even some ad copy. but the moment a post screams 'I was generated by a language model,' you've killed trust. in affiliate marketing, trust is the only thing that keeps the commissions flowing.
from a pure ROAS perspective, if the AI content actually helps the reader solve a problem without confusing them, fine. But from a consumer angle? The second someone sniffs out those empty phrases and repetitive lists, they close the tab. And worse, they think you're either too lazy to write yourself or too dumb to notice it's obvious. either way, they're gone.
So I treat AI like a junior copywriter-good for structure, needs heavy editing. If you're just pumping out zero-effort AI blogs hoping for passive income, you'll get burned. The algorithm might rank you, but the audience won't convert. my advice: keep the human touch, otherwise your affiliate links go cold.
