For hard-to-ship products, I've found the sweet spot is treating your site as a lead engine, not a storefront. What's worked for our clients:
📍 Own local search - dial in your Google Business Profile, gather real reviews, and target "near me" intent. That's where high-intent buyers start.
📄 Build product pages that sell the conversation - specs, use cases, comparison tables, and a sticky "Request a Quote" button. Make it stupid easy to start a dialogue.
🎯 Run paid to the quote form, not the cart - Meta and Google lead forms or dedicated landing pages. Track cost per qualified inquiry, not ROAS.
🤝 Nurture offline - automated email sequence → personal follow-up → site visit or sample. The close happens human-to-human.
Digital brings the right people to the table, your sales process seals the deal. Works every time when you stop fighting the shipping logistics.
