I've noticed something similar lately. My account has started getting autobanned from communities I comment in, supposedly because of some anti-bot moderation plugin. I'm definitely not a bot, but I have been cross-posting more frequently recently-basically sharing the same useful insight across a few relevant subreddits. Is that enough to trigger the ban hammer? Or has something changed on the backend?
What's frustrating is that cross-posting has been a legit tactic for ages. But it seems the algorithm is now much smarter and catches promotional patterns instantly. If you drop a link with a title that reads like a landing page, you get flagged by automod within seconds. The only way to share projects now is to write genuinely valuable posts that focus on a specific mistake or lesson, then put the link in the comments or bio only if someone asks. Self-promotion has to be wrapped in so much value that it doesn't feel like promo at all.
Curious if others are seeing the same-particularly folks who run growth or community channels.
