The signal that's still basically impossible to get a hold of? Internal org readiness. not just who holds the budget or the fancy title, but whether the team is genuinely ready to buy. is there an internal champion pushing for change? Is there a live evaluation happening? did something just happen that created real urgency?
Intent data gives you a slice of that, but it's incredibly noisy. A contact searching your category on Bombora doesn't tell you if they're three weeks from signing or just killing time between meetings.
for specific regions - especially in Asia - it gets even tougher. so many buying signals that exist for US companies just don't have equivalents over there. org charts are opaque, job postings are sparse, and LinkedIn data coverage drops off a cliff outside major metros.
This is where i think we, as marketers, have to lean harder into qualitative signals - talk to the sales team, listen to customer success, look for patterns in how people engage with your content beyond a simple page view. It's messy, but the teams that figure out that layered approach are the ones that win in the long run
