I run a decent-sized network of faceless TikTok creators and just launched my own app. My plan was to scale it like competitors do - anchor links, creator projects, link in bio. Simple, right?
Well, TikTok seems to have flipped everything upside down 💀
Before: creators could join projects easily, add anchor links to existing posts, bio links went straight to the App Store, and videos got approved almost instantly.
Now: creators apparently need 1k followers just to join projects or use anchor links, the "link existing post" option is gone, bio links are buried behind extra clicks, and every branded video takes about two days for TikTok review.
That level of friction means trends die before videos even go live. The frustrating bit? I genuinely think I could outperform competitors on pure content and engagement, but platform restrictions are slowing everything to a crawl.
I spent weeks talking to TikTok support and researching this, still feel stuck. Has anyone found workarounds? Maybe older accounts, agency accounts, TikTok One tricks, Spark Ads, better app-store redirect methods, or external landing pages?
Would love any advice from people doing app marketing or faceless creator networks 🙏
