Honestly, so many people see the "€5k a month from social media" headlines without clocking everything that actually goes into it.
Knowing the tactics isn't nearly enough. The real game is figuring out how to find clients, pitch your services, show tangible results, and explain why anyone should care about what you do. There are loads of technically brilliant people earning peanuts because they're basically invisible online.
Early on, most of us work for close to nothing-small projects, building a portfolio, learning how to actually talk to business owners and understand their real pain points. Social media marketing isn't just "I know how to post on Instagram" anymore. It's "I can help your business actually get attention, leads, or sales."
Also worth saying: the internet lies. A lot. Some folks massively inflate their earnings to sell courses or an image. Don't compare yourself to that noise.
If you're already teaching people, you've probably got more skills than you give yourself credit for. Now it's about sharpening your positioning, building a solid portfolio, growing your network, and turning your knowledge into a clear offer someone would actually pay for.
