I've been spotting some really sharp creatives lately 👀
- SaaS brands weaving storytelling into their ads - feels native, not forced
- Fashion labels pushing polished but authentic product shots
- Fitness companies leaning into user-generated content that actually looks organic
- Smaller eCommerce shops experimenting with bold hooks and looping formats
Meanwhile, someone in a recent discussion pointed out that tech giants like Amazon and Apple still set a high bar, and newer startups (e.g. tools like Cluely) are crushing it on TikTok with clever, platform-native content. But honestly? A lot of what's working seems to be the same handful of trendy hooks and formats repackaged across industries. It frustrates me how formulaic it's become, yet the numbers say it's still killing it.
What I'm wondering: which sectors do you think are genuinely pushing the creative envelope right now? And which ones are still stuck running banners from 2015?
(And no, I'm not calling the creatives 'ads' - I agree, that's the people who make them 😅)
