I'm doing my homework before committing a budget, and I keep going back and forth between these two networks. Need real talk from actual campaign runners.
On the bright side, people are saying positive things: PropellerAds apparently converts well for sweepstakes and nutra, SmartCPA does most of the optimisation heavy lifting once enough data is in, and 7SearchPPC is hailed as a goldmine for the right niche - you can stretch a small budget on low CPCs and still get usable data.
but dig a little deeper, and the contradictory evidence piles up. Traffic quality complaints, non-converting clicks, bot traffic on the cheapest inventory... I've seen claims of spending $150-200 on a campaign and getting zero commissions.
i've got people on both sides presenting what looks like a valid argument for either network. Genuinely good results from some reports, and a truly awful experience from another - sounding like the same setup.
All I really want to know is: is it the network that's good or bad, or the campaigns that are set up for that network? Because if what makes those positive results happen is actually in the targeting and funnels, then I know I can optimise my campaign and improve quality. But if traffic quality is just fundamentally broken, then my optimisation efforts are completely futile.
Would really appreciate any real-life experiences, good or bad.
