Timing gets you visibility, but substance keeps you in the conversation. I've seen too many people obsess over being first and end up sounding like a bot with a thesaurus.
The real edge comes from threading the needle between what a specific sub values and what your product genuinely solves. Communities develop an immune response to carpet-bombing pretty fast.
As for filtering-keyword volume is noisy. Intent signals are where the signal lives. A user asking "how do I scale this" is worth ten times the one typing "growth hacks." Harder to automate, but that's the whole point.
